What is Afro•Reads?

Afro•Reads was created from a 2025 Reading Challenge to read 1 book from each African country. So I decided this was the best way to bridge the gap between Africans & African Americans through literature.

But that’s not all —

In doing this work, I’ve also reached Afro Diaspora communities in between.

So far I’ve done reviews on books written by authors from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, and Cameroon.

I already have books lined up for Ethiopia, Rwanda, DRC, Congo, Senegal, Zambia, but we still have a long way to go and I am always open to book Recommendations.
